A little girl
A little girl in need of love
hides from her reality
she lives alone in a special wolrd
where everything is possible
nothing can hurt
there is no pain
A little girl steps into reality
feeling she will be safe
a boy has come to rescue her
he porvides an escape from her parents
her daddy still can't touch her
her mommy can't criticize
A little girl gets slapped in the face
the wonder boy has betrayed her
he isn't what he seemed
he is her nightmare even in the day
the boy abuses
the boy acuses
she is too weak to run away
A liitle girl is humilated
the boy has whipped her into shape
he touches her all over
she pleads for him to stop
she says no
he hears yes
she gives up and learns to just consent
A little girl is getting no respect
the boy constantly proclaims his love
freinds begin to worry
they warn her and tell her to get out
but she loves him
will do anything for him
and through the pain believes it will get better
A little girl is full of shame
she breaks away
the boy can not handle this well
he takes it out on her
touches her when she says no
blames her for his problems
she got out
but not without pain
A little girl is facing a grim reality
she is coming to terms with the abuse
dealt from the hands of the boy
she is admitting to herself and others
the truth of the situation
both daddy and mommy
the boy killed her trust in the world
A little girl is retreating
time to go back home
to her place of good and happy things
desperately she tries to keep
the boy out of her nightmares
but even in her safe haven he invades her soul
A little girl left broken
the pieces are on the floor
mommy is back again
self esteem plummets
daddy hasn't touched her
she's avoided that for some years
but the fear is always in her mind
maybe one day she will venture out again
all she wants is someone to love her
and treat her right
Is that so much for a little girl to ask?
