Spring Is Here Again! (Oestara)
Come, come,
And greet the rising day!
Spring is here again!
Welcome back the warmth
Of the Sun that has grown stronger
Since the Day of Longest Night
And will grow stronger yet.
Welcome back the daffodils,
Blooming cheerfully
To greet the warming of the year
Once again.
Welcome back the birds:
There's the robin
And the blue jay
And ah, the sparrow.
Look around you!
There are buds on the trees,
Flowers pushing out of the ground.
Life is just waiting to burst
Into a chorus of celebration
Of itself.
Soon all wil be bursting with
Reawakened energy
As the Cycle rolls
Back around to summertime.
All is right with the world.
All is alive, all is increasing.
Life is on the upswing yet again.
Come, come,
And greet the rising day!
