Poetry by Aaron Jones

UNTITLED-1
The only thing
to fear from truth
is the death
of misperceptions,
deception,
and lies.

line
UNTITLED-2
It takes wits to see a door,
It takes strength to open a door,
It takes courage to look through a door,
And it takes will to walk through,
But
It takes an obstinant bastard
A bastard with balls of steel
To knock out a wall
And make a door of his own.

line
UNTITLED-3
When your means
Become the ends to
your actions
Your life has gone astray

line
---LATE NIGHT---
HARD WIRED
BURNING WIRE
TIN-FOILED FUSE,
NERNES JACKED UP
ON CIGARETTE SMOKE
AND THE REEK OF COFFEE FUMES,
FEVERED EYES
AND FRYING BRAIN
SHANGHIED OUT OF SLEEP,
HARDWIRED
BURNING WIRE
TIN-FOILED FUSE
