Positive Magic: Occult Self-Help
by Marion Weinstein. This would qualify as one of my all-time favorite books. I often lend it to friends, both Pagan and otherwise. It is a wonderful sharing of wisdom!
American Indian Myths and Legends by Richard Erdoes, Alfonso Ortiz (Native American is not one pantheon, but rather many, according to Nation and Tribe. This book has stories from a many.)
Me 'n God in the Coffee Shop. The author, Rene Donovan, contacted me, and would like to invite people to visit her site about her book or to order her book online from the publisher even though it's not available through Amazon.com. Take a look, support small presses!
The Master Book of Herbalism
by Paul Beyerl. This is my Herbal. There are a number of good ones on the market, but this is the one I use most. It contains magickal and medicinal information and correspondences.
There is no particular rhyme or reason to this list. I just put these in, as tehse are the books I find my self using more often than any other books. As a result, they are lovingly bookmarked, bent, and splotched with herbal concoctions and candlewax. This is the highest of recommendations, in my eyes!
Mythology : Timeless Tales of Gods and Heroes by Edith Hamilton. I've had this book since I was 12, I remember it stirring some early Pagan daydreams.
it is a collection of Greek and Roman myths
arranged in section on the gods and early heroes, love and adventure stories, etc. it includes a brief section on Norse mythology as well.
