Rites of Passage

Rituals and ceremonies feed our spirits, making them richer and deeper. Modern culture tends to downplay the importance of the rites of passage that mark our transition from one life stage to antoher, but they are as important as ever. Perhaps there are so many self help books, and as a therapist I see so many peope who just need some help with the transition because we have let slide these rituals. All religions have there own rites of passage, if you are not pagan, use the farmiliar ones, or research the ones that correspond to your faith if they have fallen out of fashion. If you are pagan, or like adapting, here are some creative selections. As always, anything you write or adapt for yourself will have the most meaning. --Zaratyst
