In case you just stopped in to find out what a wuzzle is...

"Wuzzle" in reference to spinner dolphins; is a term for "group sessions of mutual caressing and sexual activity (both same-sex and opposite sex)". "The term wuzzle--though used as a technical designation for this behavior in the scientific literature--is actually a nonsense word coined by a marine biologist, W.E. Schevill of Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, who, when asked what the behavior was, replied without hesitation, "Why, it looks like a wuzzle to me." [p.18] Bagemihl, Bruce. 1999. It could also mean the inhabitants of a cartoon aired in the 80's by Disney. Apparently only 13 episodes were ever made, but you can still sometimes find the toys. Our friend Jen C. donated her childhood wuzzle, Moosel, to be the Official Wuzzle for us. He's a moose and seal combination. What can we say, dolphins were too dignified to participate in the genetic experiments.

What, if anything does all that have to do with us? The answer is nothing, really, it was just a cool sounding word.
