If you need directions, visit http://www.mapquest.com
and get directions to the above address, right from
your own front door. Or http://maps.yahoo.com
Format:
The meeting will be a basic 101 type of poly
discussion. However topics will change according
to who shows up. We'll supply veggie & fruit platters.
You bring soup, sandwiches or something quiet to
eat and share. No chips. Plates and silverware will be
provided. This meeting is kid-friendly. We have a
separate room for kid games and movies. If people
wish to hire a babysitter that is fine, but not
necessary unless kids number more than 4. Bowling,
mini-golf and camping and hiking trips are ok for kids
too. The Poly 303 and the poly potluck at the Wetspot
are for adults. Poly Game Days are kid friendly also.
There is plenty for all. Usually 6-12 people show up.
Email if you want more details.
We have one cat, but she stays outdoors a lot in the
summer.
If you want to come over early, then let me know and I'll
give you a garden tour and we can harvest something. If
you want to come over late, you may do so.

About Meetings in General:
Meetings are usually end monthly. Right now we are alternating between "social" and "discussion group" every other month. We hope that in this way, we can get to know each other better, as well as explore poly topics. If you only like one format or the other, you can also just come to those meetings. While it doesn't seem to me that this should need saying, the number of questions in email that I get tell me it does. Single people are welcome! You don't have to be part of a couple, triad or whatever to be poly. Poly is a way of thinking and or living your life, it doesn't necessarily mean that you are currently involved. Current attendees have voted to make the meetings child free at this time. Currently the location is being rotated between people's homes around the metropolitan Seattle area.
The best way to keep current on meetings and receive updates is to subscribe to spinlist. The meetings are always announced there, and the mailing list (so far) has been low volulme.
P.S. If you would like to host a future SPIN meeting, please come to a meeting and volunteer! We could always use more volunteers! Individual events may be child inclusive or exclusive, at the option of the hosts for that meeting.
We invite anyone interested in polyamory, intimate networks or responsible non-monogamy to join us, and you don't need to be a practicing poly. We've coined a new *inclusive* word to describe in general how these folks might see themselves. The term decided upon is 'poly-intimacy.'
These people might see themselves as being involved with poly-amory, poly-fidelity, group marriage, open relationships, swinging, intimate networks, etc.
We do ask that you be sex positive and accepting of all sexual orientations, genders, races, ages, etc. ALL are welcome! This is not a formal group, just folks who want to meet and talk with others who share similar ideas, or who want to learn more about the poly lifestyle.
Guidelines:
We have a few simple guidelines to help insure the comfort of all in attendance:
- Participants must respect others personal boundaries. It is better to get permission than forgiveness! Physical contact must be consensual and negotiated.
- There are pre-existing relationships among those in attendance, and should be respected. Limited Public Displays of Affection (PDA's) may happen.

Announcements are also generally made on the sea-poly mailing list, the
Seattle Poly Potluck site, and Seattle area Events posted to
- Society for Human Sexuality.
