Illume--a legend of Ancient Japan

Running April 2004 to October 2004

Premise: It is Japan, 1583. Emperor Nobunga was captured in battle and committed seppuku with his captor, Lord Akechi, and Akechi's most trusted battle advisors General Hideyoshi and the wu jen Arenro present. Nobunga faltered, and Akechi took his head.

We wrapped up the campaign last week, so we have one last recap, and we're done. Yukiko returns in From Lady Yukiko's journal, 9/30/1583: Shade to Light, and Jeron wraps things up in Epilogue: Wear Red When You Bring Me Offerings. There's also one last Legend, the story of Reiko and Setto: Childhood's End.

The Retinue

World notes:

This is a D20 campaign, based partially on the Oriental Adventures sourcebook. Some things you see here may or may not be canon. Our Japan is the overlap of the real Japan and a fantasy Japan; the premise is based on historical events, but like the last campaign we are gleefully changing history as we see fit. If you have questions, feel free to ask.
