Callas never wanted anything more than to do her cleric rotation, settle down on a farm or ranch somewhere where there was work to do and peace and quiet to be had, and to live an ordinary life.

Unfortunately, this was not to be.

When our story opens, she's almost nineteen years old and young for her age, traveling with the knight that's been assigned to her and helping train initiates in the Temple. Within the space of four months, she's been appointed Headmistress of the Temple by her goddess, shot, stabbed, burned, frozen, fireballed, nearly killed too many times to count and actually killed three times, gotten breathed on by dragons, fallen in love, discovered that her parents aren't who she thought they were, and started a couple of wars.

She's had to grow up a lot in a very short period of time.

Her salient characteristics are a wisdom beyond her years that she's only now learning how to fully access, a bloody-minded stubbornness about certian things and extreme flexibility on others, and a willingness to do whatever is necessary to accomplish her goals. Her best characteristic is the unshakability of her faith, when she's found something she knows to be true; her worst habit is keeping information to herself if she doesn't think it concerns anyone else. Or even, occasionally, if it does.

She's got a lot on her shoulders. Fortunately, she's not alone...

Journal Entry 1 - 12/10/1347-12/11/1347 Callas is left behind in Sherwood Forest for a few days, and hangs out with horses and her staff. Gaius' girlfriend comes to a bad end.
Letter - Callas' Headmistress Appointment 12/3/1347 The order of Epona turns over its highest office to an emotionally unstable teenager. Hilarity ensues.
Dream - Galvin Malik is really not a very nice werecreature, at all.
Journal Entry 2 - 12/16/1347 Galvin's rescue, Callas' appointment as Headmistress. Strawberries shows up for the first time and is bought off, Caul dies, Malik dies, the group meets Jaenus.
Journal Entry 3 - 12/19/1347-12/21/1347 The god Airmid dies; Gaius, Galvin, and Riyor witness it. Strawberries shows up again. Forces are marshalled for the Solstice ceremony. Bloodbath at the ritual; Arumaga steals two children of Epona. First mention of Callas' dreams.
Dream - There's a Cold Wind a-Comin' Goddesses overheard, rumors of betrayal for both sides, and part of the truth of Callas' parentage.
Journal Entry 4 - 12/22/1347-12/25/1347 Callas and Galvin get involved and are immediately inseparable. Callas begins to have true dreams. Gaviao rouses the rabble and the group storms the castle to free Arnie's father.
Dream - What is Lost, What is Found Nabila and her father, Baile and the plague, Epona's children, and the first glimpse of a certain foal.
Journal Entry 5 - 12/27/1347 Callas has a stalker in the dream realm. Off to a very small and insignificant country in the middle of the Pyrenees. Sneaking into the heart of the mountain to rescue Epona's children. Gavião is killed messily by Arumaga and is resurrected. Refugees head back to Madrid.
