This site was first created to support a play-by-email game "Jewel of the Night" which I ran in 1998. That game has since ended, so I have removed the information specific to it, and enhanced the content of interest to vampire afficionados in general. The chronicle was called Jewel of the Night in reference to the setting, Seattle, often referred to the "emerald" city.
